our current COUNSELOR
Angela TONA, MSW
(She/Her)
Angela is a queer, radical Enneagram practitioner, organizer, and social worker. She has been studying the intersections between relationships, Community Organizing, group dynamics, psychology, and the Enneagram for the last 14 years.
She has spent the last 6 years integrating Enneagram theory into local Community Organizing and Working Teams efforts. Angela has found tons of success building stronger communities and organizing collectives when using intentional reflection and communication techniques through an Enneagram Lens.
Angela has been working for years to bring a radical, accessible, liberation lens to Enneagram theory in order to build stronger communities working towards building the world they deserve. Raised with southern Italian & Catholic roots- Angela seeks to reclaim the good from the Enneagram’s history tied to Catholicism and reconstruct parts that perpetuate oppression.
She has supported a wide array of individuals, couples, grassroots collectives, and teams in utilizing the power of the Enneagram towards collective resilience.
With nearly a decade of experience in full-time group work, social/relational theories and practice; Angela has honed her skills to provide an organic and nuanced approach to facilitation.
Angela works full time at a local affordable housing non-profit. She earned her Bachelor of Social Work in Rochester NY and her Master of Social Work in Minneapolis, MN. She is currently perusing licensure in the state of NY and lives full time in Buffalo NY.
